    Default Color Fun with Macro

While at the animal park bird sanctuary, I noticed some hummers wizzing around these very cool looking flowers. Set up my tripod, and waited & waited, and of course no hummers!
So I ended up zooming in and taking some macro shots of these flowers (need ID on these). Liked the pattern on this one image, so made some H &S and curves adjustments. Wanted to contrast warm and cool colors, so repeated image, changing colors by adjusting the hue and saturation levels.

Can you guess which one is the original color?

Right now I'm using a Mac & CS2 but hope to upgrade soon to and get Parallels so I can run all these great filters and effects

    C & C welome & appreciated,

    - Brendan

    Hi Brendan,
Looks like a plant called a "Red Hot Poker". The one on the left.
Nice job with color and composition. The 3 images work well together!!

Brendan, I like the composition with the three images together. It works well here. Wonderful colors and great job with hue and saturation. Learned something new - Red Hot Poker. Thanks Dave!

Brendan, I like the way you did your triptych. You can use a drop shadow w/ these also but fir this one I think it might be a bit tight. Very creative and great OOTB thinking! If it is a Red Hot Poker than I am guessing the red one is the original. Nice work!!!

Thanks for the ID Dave and thanks for the feedback folks. I think you're right Denise, a drop shadow might work if I had more space. I was playing around with different layouts, tried overlaping the panels and then settled with this.
