    Default Black-Necked Stilt

Nothing fancy here; just a simple flight shot with a particularly nice pose.

Agree, nice wing position and head angle. I am not to excited by the dull gray of the water though Doug - but then that's just me. :)

Hi, Doug. I actually love that battleship gray water:) Seriously, though really nice pose, sharpness, and exposure on this one.

    Cheers,

With the black and white bird on a gray background, I like how those bubble gum legs just pop. I'm not sure they'd jump out as much if the background was "prettier".

Nice flight pose Doug. Techs look good as well as sharpness. Don't mind the water color all that much.

Good banking posture with a full wingspread. Overall well exposed on both blacks and whites, and sharp too. The water colour doesnt bother me, although we do get fussy when other images have deep blue water BG's.:)

Great techs on the bird Doug (as usual). I am not excited by the water but agree that it gives full focus to the bird. I really must come spend some time with you to witness how you HH all these shots with 600+1.4!

Beautiful flight shot, Doug. Love the wings framing the head. Nicely exposed. Battleship grey works for me as a backdrop to the white, black and bubblegum.
