    Default Major Mitchell's Cockatoos

Photographed last year in Lake Mungo National Park, NSW. I have found them to be curious at times and will actually fly in to investigate the photographer. Finding them in the first place is the difficult thing.

    Nikon D300, Nkikkor 500mm + 1,4 TC., f/8, 1/800, ISO 800

They are a gorgeous pair! You have captured a very sweet moment here. I love the soft pink feathers. Well done! :)

I am curious Gerard, do they mate for life?

What a great moment captured. Excellent exposure and I love the pink and white colors of the birds.

Your blue BG goes really well with their pastel colors.
