Todd nice details here. I'm not sure if I like the eye so centered in the frame.

This is a sweet shot Todd. There's a great line running through the frame starting at the top of the horn and running out the bottom with the slit of the nose. The crisp, clean eye in the middle completes it. Well done.

Todd - I agree with Steve that the line of the nose in the llc and the horn in the urc works well. The snow also adds greatly to the image.

Make it three. The diagonal from horn, to eye, to nose works for me.

Hi Todd, if this is almost FF, then perhaps a more tighter crop might work even better? If you use the same proportion working from the top RHC down, see what you think? :) Would like to have had the option to have seen all the horn.

I do like the depth of colour and good detail in the eye.

    Todd,

I have tried doing these tight shots before of bison and seem to always get something in the center that would look better elsewhere. The eye in this case. I have tried frame loser and crop in PS later when I can think about it more.

Good detail in the image and I like the sprinkle of snow.

I think the image works well, like the detail and the snow is a big plus. One could play around, try different crop but not sure you will get anything much better TFS

Thanks for the comments everyone. Knew this would be sort of a love it or hate it type of image. The diagonal line nose, eye, horn is what makes this image work for me.
Steve, re:all of the horn, I too would have at least had a chance to look at it with all the horn but he was too close and the wife was useing the body with the zoom at the time :(
