This is another double image. I used Benson first, then redid it using Klimt (I had to do at least one Klimt:)) I layered the Klimt over the Benson at about 50% opacity, then applied a slight ink outline filter.

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Cheryl, I applaud your efforts to use the Klimt filter. It is a difficult one and I think you pulled it off nicely. I like the pose and the amount of detail. Nice comp. It still has a great habitat look to it.:)

    Cheryl,

Greetings. Klimt! Very intriguing filter... Here the background seems a little busy for my taste. The color is great.

    Cheers,

Nice comp and like the pose, colors and detail on bird. I agree with Michael that the BG is a little overpowering. I might try toning it down to improve the habitat look and compliment the image of the bird.

Hi Cheryl, you really pulled this off nicely. Klimt is a tough one. Wondering taking a bit of the top would make the GHB stand out better.

Nice vertical comp, Cheryl, and it's obvious you put a lot of work into this image. I agree that the BG is a bit strong. Maybe you can tone it down a bit. Nice GBH pose! Maybe take just a tad off the top?

Nice pose and comp, Cheryl. I haven't yet tried Klimt. I agree that the BG looks a tad busy perhaps, so toning it down a little and/or taking a little off the top might as others have suggested might be good.
