Common species..but I liked the pose. Does this comp work? Or should the duck be centered or towards left of the center. Found that a little tricky. Wishing the duck wasn't angled away but HA ain't too bad, I suppose.

I like the pose and I like the placement. I would like to have seen the eye clearly, which would have broken up the "solid color" of its head.

Kaustubh, I like the pose and the BG colors are lovely. The strip of color at the top adds interest. I do wish the eye were more open but it is still very nice as presented.:)

Interesting pose but agree it makes for a tricky composition.
I agree with your choice to place the bird on the right rather than on the left but, for my taste, maybe slightly higher in the frame and a tiny bit further to the right than presented. Another possibility that would work for me would be a tight crop with the bird centered.

    Lovely water and BG!

The composition works fine for me as well and I love the detail and the colors of the head.

Hi, Kaustubh. I agree with the other comments so far. Love that BG, nice and smooth but some interest too. Since the head is angling back toward the left, I think your placement of the bird toward the right is just fine.

Hey Kaus, I would leave the comp as is, and if the upper BG was all blue, I would have cropped off a but. As there is that lovely pastel colour there, just perfecto.
