Default A DAP here a DAP there

    Folks,

Greetings. Not sure whether to thank Mark for suggesting a DAP theme or not (it's too fun & I don't have time :p !). Took a trial spin and got hooked... Sigh.

Anyway... Monet base with Portraitist (a little) and Benson (here and there)...

Michael, The DAP filter can be addictive :). You did a great job rendering this one. The colors and painterly look is nice and it looks like you kept just enough details to make it interesting.

Michael, the effects and color look good. And yes, it can be very addictive:)

I too was playing around with a Scarlet Macaw image. This turned out great. I really hadn't thought of DAP-ing an already DAP-ed image. Oh no...more time at the DAP-board :p.

    Denise, Andrew, Cheryl, Nancy,

    Thanks much for the comments...

Nancy, I didn't for this, DAP an already DAPed image (though, I have played with that a little)... I did separate, er, DAPings (?) then masked, blended, etc. in PS.

    Cheers,

That came out really good! Nice colors and pose. Nice application of effect, as Denise mentioned, there is just enough detail remaining.

Nice composition, Michael. Great choice of subject for DAP. I really like the colors here. The only suggestion I would have is to mask back the eye of the original.

I especially like the tilt of the head and the bright colors. :-)
