Sweet light, nice sharpness, and great action. A little tight in the frame, but you already knew that! :)

Cool shot Roman, like the water trail, catch, HA and dark BG. Adding a bit of canvas ESP on top would do the trick TFS

Everything covered - wonderful shot. Like the framing as is, but would not complain about a bit more room :)

Nice sharp image and dark background. But if possible, I'd like to see more space above the bird, and to the right so that the outer ring of the water disturbance is not clipped and shows a bit of calm water beyond it. :)

roman, some great contrast here. The plumage on the neck is gorgeous...perfect bird angle...but what makes this really supern is the eye contact with the fish. Way to go...

tight at top but I know you prefer things that way :-)

Nice, Roman, agree with others re. the framing. I particularly like seeing the fish so clearly and the water splashes.

Roman, A classic Roman crop but I do wish you had the rest of the concentric circles. The dark BG is gorgeous and the exposure and sharpness are top notch! Great catch!!(I love saying that):)

Wow, that is stunning. As mentioned it has all the ingredients for a powerful, dynamic image.
Agree with more room on top.

I like the eyes of the fish and GBH! The water drops really add to the image.

Roman, love the light and dark BG in this one. The eyes look great and the dripping water adds liveliness to the image. TFS.

I think you need a CCW rotation Roman - check out the water ripples.

Hey Roman, these are very similar to our grey herons. Just love the detail in this, and how he stands so well from the darker BG, especially the water droplets.

Hi Roman , Beautiful light on the Heron with great detail. Love the action curve of the droplets and the dark background sets it off nicely.
