This is a montagu's Harrier female taking off after her sunrise basking, the morning light with that mild fog brought out some lovely colors.

    Hope you like it,

Stunning as usual Kiran! Maybe just a little extra sharpening on the head, as it looks like best focus is on the near wing. That even light is terrific.

Wow great Harrier! Exceptional lighting and sharpness, nice background. Looks like a painting! Agree with Doug that the head could use a bit more sharpening.

Kiranbhai, whats there not to like here. Fantastic light, good wing position, and captured against a killer BG. Another fine image from you.

Hi Kiran, Great shot, love the wing spread and the bkg is very nice, do you have enough room to straighten that horizon line? or is that something else that is fooling me :)

Thanks Chad, The bird is parallel to the ground, its the slope in the BG that is giving that effect.

Kiran, beautiful light and the BG is killer -- nice and smooth but with some interest to it too. I like the sloping line in the BG as it mirrors the line of the bird.

extremely beautiful bhai as usual. dont know if you would do it or not as ethics but removing that blue tinge on TLC filling with same tone of entire bkgr can reduce attention on that part.

A fine shot. I especially appreciate seeing the articulation of the far wing.

Wonderful image super detail and colours.

The eye is very sharp and I wonder if there is such a thing as being just a little too sharp or perhaps just a tad too much contrast it really stands out but I suspect it is just me not having seen one in such light.

I have no ethics Bhai when it comes to PP, I do everything that makes the frame look good and those birds beautiful. Sure thats a nice suggestion will try.

Thanks Jonathan Bhai, I agree to your input too, I think I need to soften the wing a bit and reduse the sharpness on the face to balance off, will try it..

    Thanks again,

    Kiran
