This is also excellent, what a great low angle, love the eye contact, head angle and open mouth. I find the lower right hand side a bit tight and although exposure is perfect, I wonder if fill flash could have improved this excellent image TFS

Good looking cat and pose Ken. Agree with a little more on rhs. Techs look good with good sharpness. Well done.

I am assuming full frame Ken and since he is sitting still a quick pan to the right and another image gives you something to stitch together to solve the tightness of the RHS. I do this all the time with the bears in Alaska. Even though we are on foot and amongst them, we move as a group so easier to chose the pan, shoot and stitch later option.

impressive specimen indeed Ken - always amazing to see the bulky stocky frames of the males vs the finesse and grace of the females.

love the POV here and a tad tight on RHS as mentioned, though I would be very happy with this one...

Ken - nice pose with eye contact and open mouth. The green grass and tree set him off nicely. Agree that it's a little tight on the rhs.

    Thanks for the comments.

I do have more room on RHS but it is a rather unfortunate piece of termite mound with a rather uninteresting "shrub" on it, the removal of this would require too much " manipulation" for my liking

Great looking cat. Might also look good as a vertical pano with a crop just behind the shoulder.

Ken I love the eye contact, open mouth and exposure. You can certainly see the power of this male in his bulky frame.
