Ouch that could be painful, I have never seen Haartebeest being so agressive.

It looks like it needs a little CCW rotation but I think the puddle confuses the perspective.

    Hi Ken

These 2 fight for about 15 minutes, without stopping, at 1 stage their horns were locked and we thought they are doomed...
when the loosing bull decided to get out of the fight, i manage to get a few shots

Johan, is this full frame? If not, then a CCW rotation (as suggested) of about 5.5 degrees will certain improve the image angle if you base it on a line left from the trailing feet. This intern would also give more room around the subject as it's rather tight IMHO as presented. The chasing bull & water spray certainly illustrates what is happening. Might have sacrificed some of the shutter speed for more DOF.

OK Johan, always difficult when the action starts. :)

awesome action Johan and I love the splashes...

I don't agree with rotating it here, as it's quite clear the escaping bull is running "out of the picture" towards the viewer on a diagonal line. To me it adds quite a lot of depth :)

Great action Johan. I love the startled look of the male in front and the water splash giving the sense of movement.

As others have mentioned I would also try a CCW rotation if only to bring the water splash molre in line with its reflection. Otherwise the water looks like it's running fown hil to me.
