Here in NS we started with a warm, green winter, but now we have had a couple of Nor'Easters, with another expected tomorrow, so winter is now looking more traditional. In my backyard, winter means White-throated sparrows at the feeder. I couldn't think of a good way to remove the snow from in front of the bird's wing, but I didn't think it mattered that much, so I left it in.

    Richard:

Like the sharpness, exposure on bird, snow on his head.

The large clump of snow obscuring his body detracts for me, both because it does obscure, and is so bright that it pulls the attention.

    Does look very wintery though!

Richard, I like the sharpness and the exposure in this one. As Randy pointed out it is too bad the snow was obscuring part of the bird’s body. If this is full frame I would also like to see something which would make it stronger compositionally.
