    Seldom seen in the open. Rarely do I get a clear look at this reclusive bird. Photographed a bit before sunset as it came out of the reeds.

    What a great capture. I'll bet you waited a long time for this one. Those are the most rewarding shots - the ones we have to wait for.

    Nice one Milt. I'm still waiting for my first shot from these guys. The whites on the throat seem a bit hot. And if this would be mine I would clone away that twig in front which is now blocking a small part of the birds back.
