    Wow that's a peach, I was going to submit a wattled lapwing myself ...but I have just reconsidered it! Love the colours the pose and the detail.

    amazing photo.
    i really like the colours, exposure is perfect, head angle is very good, strong eye contact.
    i wish the BKGR would have a little more bokeh, but it is pretty good,
    keep up the good work!

    Neat pose, good exposure, and OK habitat. I'd tone down the dark spot in front of the wing, lose the two water drops (they don't add much here), and give it some needed CCW rotation.

    Always nice to photograph from the comfort of your car, eh!!

    Wonderful light, pose and colors. One of the things I love about BPN is seeing species that I didn't know about, and this one is a beauty. Definitely needs some CCW rotation.
