This is one of the two 11 month old bros along with mum who brought down a baby tommie in the midst of a downpour, most of the vehicles had already left which allowed us some time with this trio despite the conditions and obvious disdain he had for my lens.:p
Light was fading fast, hence the 6400 ISO.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers

High ISO does not appear to have harmed the IQ of this excellent image Marc. Love the stare, bloody noise and food in the mouth. Well done.

Hi Marc, great low POV with a captivating stare. Colours looks good, especially the eyes, which sometimes are lighten too much to show that lovely amber, but then look false due to the light conditions. Personally I would like to have seen the crop moved as is, but more to the RHS so you see more of the kill rather than the Cheetahs body, but there might have been reasons for it? Certainly the high ISO has worked and done it's job in obtaining a good image, nicely done Marc.

Marc - nicely done. Tells a good story with the stare and the bloody face. Impressive at such a high ISO.

Nice image Marc. Love the stare and the moment captured. Whites seem to have a bit of a cyan cast to me. Very well done.

Amazing IQ for the ISO. I very much agree with Steve re crop/composition, namely that it would be preferable to see more of the scene to the right but less of the body.

Of course a fantastic moment captured; colors appear vivid without being overly so and sharpness is right on. JR

Agree that more to right would have been preferable, however there was some annoying scrub (isn't there always ) just out of picture that I deliberately avoided, (should have stated in my OP)

Detail and color looks good, especially for the high ISO. Something looks amiss on the nose and muzzle but not sure what it is.

    Thanks Steve

Nose & muzzle is as is, nothing doctored.
