Tired of photographing birds near my backyard feeders, I set out to the snow-covered fields with exposed weeds. This junco was feeding with some Tree Sparrows and was very busy with the business of ingesting seeds, allowing me to very slowly approach. I cloned out a couple of grassy spikes above the bird's head.

Snow makes a lovely BG, Dan. Exposure looks good and nice feeding behaviour. Wonder about cropping a little from above and pushing the BG to a pure white to maximise the high key look - a fine dark line around the edge may be nice for web presentation.
