I have a bunch of squirrels feeding of of my bird feeders. This one was in a tree at eye level with me on my back porch. Taken with Nikon D3s Nikon 70-200 f2.8 + 2x TC. Adjustments in LR and CS5. There was OOF branches in front of the squirrel which I removed by utilizing Tim Grey's Method of adding a empty layer and utilizing the spot healing brush set to just larger then the branch, set to sample all layer, and work on the empty layer. did the removal in sections

Myer - well spotted. I like the eye contact and the curved tail but the focus looks a little off. Is this a large crop?

    Hi Myer,

The branch removal worked well as I see no signs of it. As Rachel mentioned, critical focus was not obtained here. I am thinking this looks like a shutter speed issue but w/o the exposure info I do not know for sure.
