Chickadees around my feeder have generally been Carolina's over the past few years (I'm in that narrow hybrid zone); but this Black-capped paid us a visit during last Friday's snow storm. Adjusted levels, ran NR on BG (and toned down a few highlights), USM; and some compositional surgery (bird was facing the wrong direction). C&C always appreciated.

Cute little guy Bill, and I like how he has tilted his head to listen to something. Comp works well, and love the inclusion of the snow. Well captured.
I love your well-balanced composition, Bill. Including the environmental setting really works well here. These black-capped chickadees can be difficult to photograph well. Great detail and nice editing work!

Bill, compelling problem with the interesting perch and small bird. Crop tight for bird or do as you did. I feel I like just how you presented it. Well done.
