Another image from my bee eater shoot way back in October last year. I like the way the bill and tail follow the perch. Taken early morning on a private farm.

    Hi Stu,
I agree with the parallel: perch and beak, perch and tail... nice also the BG colors are as beautiful as the bee eater. Wish we had these guys! great shot,

Another beauty, Stu. Gorgeous colors and detail, great pose. Perfect head angle on the bee. I wonder if toning down the green portion of the BG would put it in less competition with the bird??

Thanks Bill. Great suggestion on the greens in the BG. Never thought of that.

Beautiful shot - colors, sharpness, exposure all there. Wish we had these birds here.

I hate to be picky about such a nice image, but I'm kind of wishing that the perch wasn't coming out of the bird's throat.

Stuart, you have done quite well with these birds. Loved the sharpness, HA, prey and the colors. TFS.

I like the colors on this bird. The center crop works well with this image. Nice suggestion by Bill with the BG greens.

I love the way the Bee-eater is presenting the bee!! Perfect pose for the buzzy little pollen collector. The bird looks great too:p
The golden light has made for super saturated colours. Could you bring out a teeny bit more detail in the blacks behind the eye? I've calibrated my monitor for the first time two days ago so things are looking different, darker and more saturated.

Not sure how I missed this one Stuart. Love everything about this one, including how the lines of the bird mirror the lines of the perch. Great image!
