I threw the kitchen sink at this one! It started with a 4 image HDR, ran DAP Monet, copied this to a top layer, made a BG copy layer, ran "flood", and Topaz Clean2 on this layer, then selectively erased from the top and middle layer till I arrived at this post! Whew!

I like it, impressionistic style, kind of looks like a combination of oil and watercolor. Even though you applied a lot effects, it doesn't look overdone. Reminds me of the backpacking trips I took to E. Sierra with my high school and college buddies.

Dan, The results are wonderful! The image has a soft painterly look and the colors are quite pleasing. I might take a slice off the bottom if it were mine but the image is divided nicely into thirds.:)

Superb COMP, Dan, and all the filter effects work together to produce a pleasing image. Agree with Denise about slicing a little off the bottom. Love the Clean effect on the foreground. I might have backed off on filtering for the middle level trees, but it's a very minor nit. TFS!

Hi Dan, beautiful painting! I like it a lot. Really captures the essence of the Eastern Sierras. I love how the mountains rise dramatically from the valley floor. Your low shooting angle really emphasizes that. Well done!

Dan, I really like the effect and the scene is gorgeous. I'd like to see a little bit off the bottom also (maybe just above your sig):)
