Eastern Meadowlark

this is another of my meadowlarks from joe overstreet road in osceola county. just drive up and down the road and listen for them and they land on the fence posts. look for a good background and fire away.

Nikon D300, Sigma 50-500 at 500mm, f/6.3, 1/1600s, 0EV, ISO 400, on a manfrotto window pod in my truck blind:p. window pod well worth the cheap investment!!

NICE ONE Harold! the bird the BG and all look good. Oho and ya got it all the way out to 500mm:D

Now..Maybe the bird looking more toward you? And I .almost feel like there is too much space on the right maybe?

Composition is great, the colors on the bird are fantastic; it looks like you painted the yellow with a paint brush. The background compliments and brings everything together nicely.

Hey Harold, this is a great image, I personally find the colors very nice and the detail is fantastic.
