    Canon 7D 100-400mm lens, focal length @400mm
    1/400, f 13, ISO 320, Zone AF, one shot

    Taken New Year's Day on Cape Cod, Wellfleet Audubon Sanctuary. Used LR3 to increase exposure and added sharpening and noise reduction, with crop. Thanks for your comments.

    I would crop some from the bottom and the left. I really like the pose and perch, though I think making the perch less dominating by cropping would help. You have very pleasing colors here. I also think a bit more sharpening would help.

    Very nice image, flicker is nice and sharp, colors are good, I agree a little tighter crop would make it a stronger image.

    Ann,

    Composition is good and like the subject placement. As Carole suggested may be another round of USM.
    Very nice alter pose and eye contact. I might consider cloning bit of leaves coming out in the middle of frame on left side.
