    Taken at my local patch today; the only individual of this species amongst hundreds of BHG'S
    NR in CR5 30 crop,and reduction in blue in color balance, USM in PS5 and them on jpeg for posting.

    Regarding sharpening pre posting,
    and after saving for web I reloaded the BPN file in to PS5, and then resharpened, is this OK it seems to produce great results.

    It's great to have a record shot of an uncommon species, or a different individual of a flock...your image does just that. Artistically though, it as a few things going aganist it: light angle, body and head angles (angling away), and a need for CW rotation. The image does look soft too...make sure it is below 200kb before posting (this one says 193kb, but the forum will reduce the size if over). Your sharpening technique should be fine - if it looks good on your monitor at below 200kb, then it should still look fine once uploaded...

    good for the Sharpening confirm, noted size issue, odd since I optimise at 190 for bpn

    agree on all other points, need to rotate the lake :o
