    Hi Folks;

    Photographed this male Gila Woodpecker on our Arizona Ash in our garden today.
    Painting was done in free Fotosketcher Oil Painting & CS5 to blur background & apply stroke border.

    Nice feel to this oil, Gus and I like the original shot. I prefer the version without the border, and maybe a little less room on the RHS.

    Gus, I'm adding the words Weekly Theme as this fits the theme very well. I love the first one the most. Colors are lovely. I might try a vertical comp if it were mine. Nicely done.

    Nice image and application, Gus.

    Very interesting painting effect and neat BG. Like the border as well.

    Beautiful painting, Gus. I love the colors and BG. I like the second version with the border best. The shadow across the bird's chest bothers me a bit.

    Gus, I love the first image the most. I'd like a vertical crop as well:)

    Great color and effect! Like the one without the border as well.
