Don, this is a wonderful image. I love the low perspective and the courting ritual that you have captured.

I love it...Great exp and detail...I like the OOF part in the front obscuring the bottom of the birds...IMy taste to a tee, makes me think of us sneaking up on them behind something to get the winning image! Nice one Don!

Lovely angelic mood to this, and I like how the terns blend into the surround FG. Good to see the food item too.

Wonderful! If this were in a coffee table book I'd be looking on the facing page for the short story behind it.

Don, awesome capture. Love the low angle and eye contact from both the birds. You did a great job with the exposure.

Considering the wingflap, this is impressive comp at full-frame...did you anticipate the need for room for those wings? Good exposure for the harsh light, and the bright beach sand acted as a natural reflector to fill some shadows. Only thing that would have been better is for the prey to have its face towards us rather than the tail end!:)

Wonderful courting moment captured sir. Excellent presence of mind to get this pose full frame. I loved the bang on exposure.
