    Hi,

    Here is a very heavy crop-about 1.8 MP- of this adult male Chaffinch.
    taken with 7D& Sigma 150-500,F8, Iso 640,1/250s, Handheld

    Mohsen, the image certainly held up well for such a huge crop (you can thank the 7D for that!)

    You've got the bird's head mostly in shadow - you might try a shadow/highlights adjustment to bring the darker areas up and to bring out more detail in the eye. It's too bad you got the dead leaves and foliage at the front of the image. Moving to the right some might have prevented this - be sure to watch for the FG just as much as for what's in the BG. If you have the rest of the bird in the image, you might back down on the crop and show the whole bird. He feels as if he's cut in half with the current crop - going wide or going super tight are usually preferred compositions over a middle crop such as this.

    Nice HA...nice detail in the feathers...good BG. Just need to recompose and watch for the OOF stuff in the FG next time.
