    Default Star-spangled Eagle

I used Topaz Clean and Adjust on the eagle and the clear blue sky was boring so I added two textures, masked the eagle, and added a spray of stars with Mystical Lighting filter to create a fantasy image.

"Per Ardur Ad Astra" - Through Adversity to the Stars, (Our motto in RAF Bomber Command - WWll) - http://unclegus.150m.com/daddywar1.htm is what that gorgeous painting of Judy's fabulous presentation brings to mind, especially the way he is looking up. Was definitely a super BIF original before a lovely job of enhancement. I think this forum is definitely pushing the envelope.

I think there may be a slight halo around the bird but this is a really nice one. Great job on the BG.

Judy, I love the fun sky and the stars really add some whimsy to this. The Eagle looks great and I think you did a nice job masking it in.:)

Beautiful composition, Judy. Love the open bill pose and the bg texture adds a lot to the image. Nicely processed.

Beautiful work, Judy. Very uplifting! :) The pose and upward motion of the eagle are perfect, and I love the starry sky!

Thanks Christopher! I love glitz and I thought the stars added to the image although I left them toned down to fit in with the rest of the sky.

Great job Judy, I like this a lot. As Christopher said, it is uplifting. Love the soaring into the stars!
