    Default Cinnamon Teal

Kristin and I had a lot of fun during our day of photography in So. Cal. We had plenty of good opportunities. If only the light had cooperated.

    Doug:

Lovely bird, great full down pose, angle in frame, striking eye..

Wish I could see a little more detail in the face, but as you said, the lighting wasn't very cooperative.

My first thought was that it could go a bit lighter, but the whites would have to be watched carefully.

Glad you and Kristin had a good time!

    Cheers

    Randy

What a colourful looking Teal. Good flight posture, and a different coloured BG to the norm, makes him pop even more.

Doug, this light looks better than anything we get in the rainforest! And I agree with Chris; the light gives it a really nice painterly feel. What a cool bird -- beautiful colors, which I think the soft light really brought out.

Great colurs on this one Doug considering the light conditions and what an amazing red eye.

    Doug,
Love the cinnamon color on this Cinnamon Teal. Nice wings down position and nice eye contact. :)
Enjoyed the day even though the light was less than ideal for So Cal.
