    Top class detail in this one...I like the way the reflection of the water is hitting the wings....Fantastic exposure

    Everything works here James. Soft light, good sharp detail, and you have captured a great full wingspread.

    Holy smokes! Look at those underwing feathers. There is some turbulence going on there. The strong light really shows off each individual feather.

    Very well done, both from a technical standpoint and compositional. Like the colors in the BG picking up the brown/oranges in the bird.

    Great wing display, particularly like the alulas showing so well.

    I could see a bit more space top, left and bottom, but very presents very well as is.

    Super! I could see this image without the blue streak along the top-right edge, but quite a visually striking image! I love the rusty thighs among the rest of the blue-gray plumage...

    Hi James, beautiful light on the Heron and great wing spread with good detail. Love the surounding habitat.
