    Really cool idea Grace! I would center the bird in the frame. And I would go for a little more shutter speed if possible. I see that you were using a 500mm with a 2x for this frame, so your only alternative would have been to bump the ISO. You'd be surprised at the quality of ISO 1600 on the Mark IV when you get a good exposure and don't have to crop too much.

    Thanks, Doug. Great suggestions. ( Yes, 500 + 2x, Artie suggested that I practice using the 2x , so I was, forgot to put that in the data)

    Great fun, neat way to display all the different feathers in that area. Flying water gives a nice sense of action.

    I could see a series here "bringing up the rear" :p

    Hi Grace , I agree with the others a unique and way cool image. I just love the water droplets coming off the tail.
