Greetings. Shot this a couple years ago & processed it about a year ago with Topaz Adjust and my usual gamut of curves adjustments. (Hope to have time for new work soon)... One of those challenging to get under 200K...
After 20 years of working for NASA, I was happy to get an assignment that required a trip to Kennedy Space Center and a tour of the Vehicle Assembly Building where two Shuttle launch stacks were being constructed.
This is toward the beginning of putting together the Shuttle launch stack. The two cylinders at the bottom of the image are the solid rocket boosters and the bracing in the middle is where the large orange external fuel tank is placed with the Orbiter on the far side.
The ceiling of the VAB (in blue top center) is about 50 stories away with the top of the bracing about 25 stories to give you a sense of the size. There is also a person visible in the lower right corner (red short sleeve shirt).
Thanks for looking.
Cheers,
-Yamo-
