Very good IQ and the bird pops so nicely from the OOF BG. Nice pose too.

    Jonathan:

Excellent colors, sharp, well exposed, interesting pose with excellent head angle.

Normally I don't like chopped off perches, but the angle on this one compliments the pose of the bird.

The wet look certainly does make it unique. Would be nice to have the same image with normal/dry plumage as well.

    Cheers

    Randy

That's a good looking Coucal. I've only ever seen our Australian version before and I love their call.
I like the pose and agree with Randy about the bird and perch have a nice flow.

The bird, BG, and composition are truly amazing, just wishing for a more natural perch...

Very nice detail and the eye is sharp and a very strong part of the image...Personally I would like a slightly tighter crop and maybe clone out the foliage in the bottom left corner...But thats me, still a fine image though! Nice one Jonathan!

Good look back pose, and certainly is a scruffy character after the rains. Dumay has a good point about cropping up from the bottom. Love the eye, and overall, nice and sharp.
