You've come a long way baby (from a 90's tv commercial).

In the General Forum I started this thread:
    http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php?77682-The-Best-of-the-Best-Sir!&p=617039&posted=1#post617039

"Let's have some fun. No critiques, just "great shot" and "WOW".
Post as a reply to this thread, one of your images that you most enjoyed from 2010.
If you want comment on an image and it is not the next in order, just click "Reply with Quote" on the image you want to comment on."

Let's think about how we can do a then and now thread. Sounds fun to me.

    Sid,
Please post as a reply to this thread, a recent GBH image to compare with the first one.

Sid, this was a great! It is easy to get discouraged as we learn, but remembering your post shows that with each photo we learn new things. Your portrait of the GBH is beautiful!

So, tell us some of the things you have changed in your photography.

My first post for critique was also a Blue heron. I look back at my early shots (started in 2008) of birds and I am happy to see I have improved. Still learning and still a long way to go.

Very nice, Sid! It's amazing to look back and see what we once thought was good and compare it to where we are now. BPN can be an amazing place to learn if you apply what you're taught with an open mind and a light touch!
