    Hermit Thrush - Boston, Massachusetts - October 26, 2010

    During fall migration my local patch is an outstanding migrant trap, so on the right days during spring and fall migration I see upwards of 20 Hermit Thrushes.

    Nice looking bird and image. Like the light, colors and sharp detail. Nice compostion with the diagonal perch, the BG colors are nice and just soft enough - may want to tone done the light spot in BG at rt of its beak. Cropping out 2nd smaller branch may help give more focus to bird as well.

    I agree with above comments and would also liked a bit of catchlight in the eye.

    Thanks all! I'll work with the background and see what I can do. I think I need to do some NR there as well.
