    Spotted the spotted early morning at low light shot this one at 1600 ISO.

    Shutter speed 1/30
    Aperture F/5.6
    ISO 1600
    Lens 600MM L IS USM + 1.4X =840 MM
    Camera body 1D Mark II N

    Great work, Ram! Sharp despite the low SS. Some blown or nearly blown whites on the breast, leg, and neck. I'd give your owlet a bit more room on the bottom.

    Adorable! What a great find Reminds me of a burrowing owl.

    Great capture, compositions looks well for me, I´d give a bit of sharpness on the bird...

    1/30 of a second, WOW you did good, would be curious to know how many shots you took at the SS and how many turned out as good as this one?

    Hi Ram , great work at that low SS turned out a nice image with great eye contact. Agree with a touch more sharpening of the owl and like the idea of a vertical as suggested by Stuart.

    Hi Ram good work with the low SS to get this fine image with great eye contact. Agree with a little more sharpening on the owl and like Stuart's suggestion of a vertical crop.
