    I love tree sparrows with their wonderful chestnut crowns. It is very unfortunate that they are now getting quite rare in Western Europe.

    I like the image and find the background really compliments the bird.

    I would consider a small crop from the bottom, but not a very big one.

    I like all of this. The bird is sharp, the colors are great, the diagonal perch and the bg is perfect

    Very nice composition and HA. Loved the perch. If mine, I'd loosen up the crop a bit( perch is too close to the edges at top and left, I feel) and brighten the image a tad.

    I appreciate the simplicity of the image and the eye contact from the sparrow. I appreciate your very democratically shooting what many would see as a dime-a-dozen species. Like Kaus, I'd like to see a bit more room in there, and yes, I think the mid-tones could be brightened up a tad.

    Nice composition with the grass frond, good eye contact and lovely colours. Agree with more space top and left TFS

    Thanks for comments and suggestion. Agree about more room top and left but was unsure about composition and cropped that way trying to get the bird out of center.
