Default Siberian Tiger ( captive ) For Harshad

This afternoon, I had the opportunity to witness these wonderful cats, and although in an enclosure, I managed to come away with this image of the big guy having a swim in his pond. Although the wire was a little way away, somehow I managed to focus without picking up the wire on my image. This is full frame. Taken at a small animal park close to my house where I have never been before.

This one work very nicely, detail is amazing and like those sharp eyes, nicely captured Stu. I also like the space at the bottom.

Captive or not, you made a fine image of a beautiful cat. Good exposure and nice sharpness. Agree with Robert on the ulc green bit. Well done.

    where is this place Stu?

nice details and gaze...pity he's captive but that's where most of us have to find our tigers. perhaps we should go to old Varty's farm in the Free State ;)

agree on cropping out the green in ULC

Magic detail in this mate. Just think how great it must be to capture them in the wild. They are so photogenic.

    Hi Stuart,
Excellent detail in this one and a beautiful looking cat. I'd go even tighter on the sides for an almost square crop. With his chin down in the water the longer horizontals make me think he's being squished into the water. I really like the overall texture of this image.

Hey Steve, thanks for your feedback and suggestion. Im not really keen on square crops, but will def have a look at it, to see how it turns out.
