    Canon 500D, 400 f 5.6, 1/800 sec, f 6.3, iso 400, hand held.

    I like the singing pose, but would have preferred more of a profile view of the bird. Sharpness and DOF are good. The spider's web is a plus. I would tone down the perch and brightest area of the head.

    Good singing pose, and a nice BG (except for the blue part ULC). Biggest issue here, IMO, is the harsh light rendering your image a bit too contrasty and shaded in bottom areas. A reverse S-curve, or other contrast-taming measure of your choice, may help keep that in check. Flash at this time of day also helps fill in those shaded areas.
