    Default Incoming Goose.

Looking at all of Randy's Swan images, I thought I would post a goose. Cant compare with you Randy, so I chose the next best thing. :)These guys are normally floating on the water minding their own business, with not a worry in the world. I was concentrating on other species when I heard this commotion, and saw this goose coming in for a landing. Not the best approach on the water as can be seen by his angle, but I managed to capture the action.

Hey Stu, great landing action, like the stretched feet and reflection on the water. Water splash adds nicely, like the wings postion and detail

Good action captured. Exposure looks to be spot on. Might take a bit off the bottom. Do love those feet.

    Stuart:

Very dynamic, love this full up pose, splayed feet, splashing water, look of intense concentration.
From the splash, it looks like he bounced his first touch down, and is trying it again.:)

This is a case where the large amount of foreground is needed, acts as his runway.

    Well done.

    Cheers

    Randy

Good capture, Stu. Exposure looks spot-on, as usual with you. I'm wondering what species this is.

Excellent sharpness, and good job with the whites. I like the composition, and the water droplets give the image some extra visual interest.

Very cool shot. Really like the splash behind him and everything already mentioned. Much rather see the gorgeous blue tones of the water rather then snow and I bet your feet were warm:)

    Great shot.

Have you looked at it with a bit of contrast boost? On my monitor that improves an already fine image.

Thanks George. I had a look with a linear contrast, and it does work. ( havent reposted )
