Like it Gus. Very nice pose. Just right amount of perch to now over power the subject. Just a bit bright for my taste. Looks like little bit of harsh light. Good luck next time.

    Hi Gus

nice pose and bird, not seen this one myself, it's very similar to Hoffmans I think
did you apply NR to the bird, details look a bit smoothed on my monitor, particularly on head and breast.

Unfortunate about the harsh light, otherwise a nice looking bird. I would like to know if you carried out and noise reduction or blurring. The perch seems a relatively too smooth with respect to the bird. Although, this could simply be dof, that could also be the reason for the effect Richard mentions.

Very nice pose, Gus. I really like these guys despite the fact that many find them noisy and obnoxious. I agree with the comments about smoothing. It looks like you ran NR on the bird or maybe it is just because of the light.

hey Gus, I like your darker version - a very striking bird. Would like to see it with less NR too.

Another good one Gus. Repost looks good.

I might clean up the two or three thread like things in bg coming from top of frame, two on left side and one near the right.

You get quite the variety of birds in your back yard Gus. Nice to see them.

Hi Gus. Lovely bird (I'd love to see one some day). Darker repost helps. Nice pose and painterly perch. Ditto the above comments about the seemingly smoothed-out breast feathers.
