    Ovidiu:

Very nice shooting angle, sharpness, exposure, pose.

I might try to tease back in a little bit of detail in the snow with some selective curves work .

    Cheers

Lovely colors, and well exposed on the bird. Looks from the EXIF that it would have been hard to get much more DOF; you must have been very close. But it's sharp where it counts.

Bill, I would liked to have more DOF, did not set to F9, F10 because wanted to keep the SS at 1/200, the bird was moving around searching for seeds dropped from feeder. And yes, with this lens I have to be very close to the birds, trying to avoid heavy croped images.
    Thanks for comments.

I'm a big fan of this image. Sharp where it needs to be, and I disagree with Randy, I like the absolute nothingness of the background. Nice work!

Ovidiu, the colours really stand out against the snow BG. Good angle of capture, and I would try a bit of selective sharpening.

I love these cold wintery photographs. Make the weather down here a little more bearable:cool:
A cute bird with lovely earthy colours and a sweet little crest. I like the way the bird appears to be casually looking at you.
The composition is very pleasing. I agree more DOF would have been nice but as you say it was not an option.
    Beautiful.
