Took this shot at the Barnegat Jetty, I have an entire series of him throwing the crab and removing the legs (I'm pretty sure I never let up on the shutter button at 10fps :p), it was great for us to see and photograph this behavior. :)

Hey Chad, Nice to meet you and the gang. Killer head angle, EXP, and crab. I think that the orange stuff is roe or eggs or whatever they call it with crabs. Love the low angle and the soft light too.
I am not a fan of the big black info bar:)

The colours of the crab really stand out in the bill. Good low angle, and I would maybe take at least half off the bottom, as I feel the subject is swimming on the central line.
Noelle, Maybe we should go shopping for new cards instead of hanging lights :p Thanks SP
Artie, fist off, thanks for the welcome to BPN, I normally post on FM there are many great people over there as well as here. I agree about the black box, that dates way back and is built into my action for web sizing the images that I made, I may have to revisit the signature.
Stuart, I agree and disagree both, I wanted to keep the reflection but wondered if the reflection was strong enough to even include.. I'm still on the bubble :D
Hi Chad. Nice action you got here. The eye contact with Mr. Crabby is pretty cool. Sharp and well exposed.
Might remove the top light area of the eye and agree with the bottom crop. Seems like these longer birds look a little better in a pano crop to me IMHO. Would not worry not much about the reflection:)
Nice to see the loons in the winter, esp. with a colorful catch.
Sharp, well exposed, look forward to the flying crab version.
My rule of thumb on reflections: If it isn't almost perfect, I will crop the image for overall comp. and not worry about trimming off the reflection. The ripples here make it a weak reflection, so a crop from below would work for me.
