    White-whiskered Puffbird taken on Barro Colorado Island in Panama.

    Taken handheld with 1DMKIIn Canon 600mm L IS f/4.0 at f/14 1/160 sec. ISO 800 580ex flash with better beamer , manual exposure.

    My hat is off to you for this handheld shot using the 600mm lens. I have shot some handheld with the 500mm and found that tough. This is the first time I have seen a Puffbird. I like everything about this photo.

    Very nice image. I'm assuming you meant f/4??

    I would take a bit off of the top and right if it were mine. Looking forward to seeing more.

    I agree with Glenn's comments about cropping. Other then that love it :)

    Very nice details, setting and pose. Maybe a bit higher and further to the right in the frame. The eye looks a tad overflashed.

    Awesome image for being handheld or not handheld. !!! Beautiful lighting and excellent detail and the pose is excellent. Really like this capture a lot. My only nit is the cropping. The bird iappears to be almost centerd and if a little canvas was added to the left it would be an even stronger image.

    Very nice shot of a jungle bird. Love everything on it including the flash work.
