Default Hello from Perth Amboy New Jersey!

    Hello BPN members,

Children's portraits pay my bills but nature photography keeps me sane.

Nature photography to me is therapy. When I am out photographing birds nothing bothers me.

    It is a wonderful gift!

Looking forward to navigating the site and sharing some images with all of you :)

    Noelle

Hi Noelle, It was nice meeting you on the jetty. Drop me a private message if you ever want to go out shooting. My schedule is a little crazy but I am out photographing a lot in the winter at the jetty. Big welcome to BPN.:)

    Hi Noelle,

Nice meeting you and the little guy. Had you just met Chad? (It seemed as if you were old friends.) Is the kid photography your full time job?

    Thanks for the welcome Artie,

Chad and I have been good friends for over a year now. We often visit each other and also travel together to photograph birds. Matty is my son and our little apprentice :)

Looking forward to seeing you again at the Jetty. I may head down that way this upcoming weekend depending on the weather.

Thanks for the info Noelle. I was asking if this is your only job: "Children's portraits pay my bills..."

Yes Artie, I photograph children and manage/train other photographers. This is my full time gig.

Any way to float the boat is the way to go. My one and only photography teacher--8 two hour Tuesday night sessions in FEB 1984--photographed Cambell's soup cans and Barnes and Noble books to finance his nature photography passion....

Actually when I started my photo career I was a teacher's aide and I sold purses to my co-workers to begin buying equipment. ...... Like you say, any way to float the boat :)
