    Default Yet Another GHO (on a stick)

    20D, 1-400L @ 400mm, f6.3, 1/50s, ISO 1600, tripod mount, MLU, remote cable. I hit ths one with a couple of passes of NR to remove some graininess. C/C welcome.

    I am surprised no one has commented thus far. I'd really like to see this as a vertical. The excess negative space to the left makes the image feel haphazardly composed. You can definitely take this up a notch with a vertical composition even if it means cropping some. great subject.

    Fully agree with Ed and can add a suggestion for the eyes Would select and lighten/increase saturation Will make the image pop

    Should be quite different with the mentioned suggestion Would love to work and repost but I'm on the road at this time !!!! I like it a lot !!!!

    Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I was going to go with a more vertical crop but felt it confined him too much (I claim influence by the memory of the actual setting, atop the highest branch with nothing but open sky). I'll have to try them and repost.
