Well done! Great colors serve to frame the animal nicely. Steve

Great light, composition, and head angle. I really like images where the animal is looking at something else besides the camera. There appears to be a halo just in front of the muzzle.

Very nice, agree with above comments. Have you heard of the journalist/photographer who is raising the orphaned coyote in Wyoming and blogging/posting pictures? http://dailycoyote.blogspot.com/sear...max-results=20

I love the soft light on this image. Very nice how the OOF FG matches the OOF BG.. Fine image for sure.

FG and BG colors and grouping of colored bushes vs. brown grass is excellent. I love the sharpness of the animal and his attention off in the distance.

Nice light and great eye detail. I like the head turn.

Thank you all for the comments.

Anita, interesting blog about the coyote lady. Hadn't heard about that one.

Steve Maxson, the halo is actually an unfortunately placed light brown bush.

Really like the comp and the soft lighting really brings out the colors of the vegetation.
