It was very hard to find a spot to shoot this one without any branch cutting his body.

Haim, I do like the pose and the details you got in the feathers. It looks a bit contrasty to me. It is hard to get a clear shot w/o any branches and I think you did a good job with capturing the owl free of branches. The BG is a bit busy.
Many of our owls give us the same predicament in regards to busy BGs and interfering branches...they should know better that we love photographing them!!:p
I love the look this individual is giving you! To me it looks like critical focus was not on the face as the feet, legs, and wings appear sharper. I would also look at toning down the burnt area on the bill. Some fill may have helped you with the shadows.
Although the sharp areas are sharp enough here, since you are photographing HH I would raise the ISO for better SS, especially with that focal lenght. ISO 400 would have given you 1/500s., and ISO 800 1/1000s. Much better to manage wouldn't you think!
