Default The last image of 2010

    of mine that is :p

Considering my nearly complete disconnect from photography in 2010 (not by choice, by circumstance) I thought that this was a fitting image and by coincidence, if there is such a thing, it's of fire. Nothing cleanses nature quite like fire. It burns away the old so nature can start fresh again (ok I'm using a little poetic license. So shoot me. ISO 100, 1/125th @f8 please.)

Time to clean some sensors, rearrange the lens bag, and get back to the joy of capturing life with my time machines.

Happy 2011 to everyone at BPN

Man, does that look warm! I just came in from outside (roughly right around the freezing mark) after 2 hours of shooting and a bonfire would be LOVELY right about now.

It's great having you back, Michael. Looking forward to seeing your wonderful images again.
