    Taking off in the early morning light.

    really like the action here, usually see these guys incoming instead of launching.

    wish bg was more blurred or nonexistent

    First, very nice capture as is. I like the lighting and the action here. I think the image would be stronger a couple of frames after this once the feet left the water.

    Great work, Philip. The blurred wings and razor sharp eye are incredible, especially at 1/200th... good panning. The background could be better, but doesn't pull my eye away from your subject.
