love your coyote shots Todd...very nice look and compo here with the diagonal line adding much...I would be tempted to do a more pano crop since the OOF rocks in front don't add IMHO

hope you don't mind - what do you think of this?
more of a 6x17 pano format with the canine's eyes on the upper ROT line?

Todd - another very well done habitat shot. I agree that the diagonal line adds a lot.

Thanks eceryone for taking a look and the feedback.
Morkel, This pano crop gives another look to it. I like it as well. Nice to have different eyes and viewpoints looking at our images.

    Todd,

Wonderful image, I like Morkel's crop too.
I wonder what yours would look like if you removed that large black rock in the front?
    Just a thought,

    Cheers,

A very nice capture Todd. I like the eye contact & I am ok with the rock in the OP because it adds dimension & anchors the coyote. I too like these types of images. Is this in YNP?

Morkel did what I was going to suggest. Nice work - I like him looking at you.

I like 'animal on ridges' shots and this one's got some nice bits of habitat. The slightly raised front paw adds a little life to the pose (rather than 4 straight legs). I like the OP but Morkel's pano also works for me and gives you another option.

I like the original crop but wish the OOF foreground rock was a bit lighter to reduce its visual impact. Wonder if the overall image could be a tad lighter in fact. Love the composition, sharpness and head angle. Grey background reflecting a somewhat dreary winter day is great as well. Best, JR
